Welcome!

I am a 2017 Loras College graduate, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. Following graduation, I accepted a Sports Editor position at Vinton Newspapers where I led the department as the main reporter. I covered 13 sports across four local school districts and produced up to three pages of content twice a week. 

In the spring of 2019, I accepted a Video Editor position at WHO 13 in Des Moines, Iowa. This opportunity allowed me to edit for various shows using Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro.

At the beginning of 2021, I was promoted to Photographer. I worked independently and alongside a reporter to capture compelling video and to construct professional settings for interviews and live shots. Furthermore, I seized opportunities to assist the sports team by covering high school football and basketball games. A process that included shooting game action, editing the raw footage, and writing a script to my completed highlights for broadcast.

My tenure at WHO 13 came to an end in November 2021 when I accepted the Content Specialist - Production and Livestreaming position at Central College in Pella, Iowa. In this role, I lead livestreaming productions for the communications office using BlueFrame Production Truck. Additonally, I assist with video projects and photo assignments and perform recordings that are edited via Premiere Pro. The content I create is highlighted on centraldutchnetwork.com, a platform I help manage alongside the athletics department. Our livestreaming team produces broadcasts for home football games, the Christmas Candlelight Concert, and Commencement, among many others throughout the academic year.
